Remote digital management of access to bins and other assets

The ongoing increase in waste generated by residents, the need for operational efficiency, and the importance of maintaining clean public spaces all highlight the need for data-driven solutions

Locking bins in cages or cabinets is not always an option, especially when appearance matters to the customer. Sensoneo’s solution does not affect the appearance of waste containers or their surroundings.

In addition to ensuring that only authorized users can access the bins, the solution can also support the introduction of PAYT for apartment buildings, where it would otherwise only be possible through door-to-door collection.

Waste Access Management can also be highly beneficial for haulers, which can easily monitor who accessed bins and when, and for bin manufacturers and distributors, as it significantly increases the value of the bins.

Bin Access Management 4.0

The solution uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. The latest version, BAM 4.0, can be expanded with external devices. For example, the system can now be paired with our ultrasonic fill-level sensors and monitors, enabling bins to be locked automatically once they reach a predefined capacity.

Because the sensors are connected to BAM by cable, they do not require batteries, as they draw power from the battery inside the BAM. This makes deploying both devices together highly beneficial from both a technological and financial perspective.
