Ultimate navigation for waste truck drivers
The operator sends scheduled routes to drivers through the Driver Navigation App, a mobile app for Android devices. The driver receives a route itinerary, and the app provides step-by-step navigation.
Sensoneo uses GPS location data from Android devices running the Driver Navigation App to track collection trucks along the route. The active route is visible in the Smart Waste Management System. The operator can adjust the route in progress and send an updated itinerary to the driver. The tool compares planned and completed routes. The driver can report any problem encountered along the route through the Driver Navigation App to the operator.
The Driver Navigation App provides turn-by-turn voice-guided navigation via the shortest, safest, and most accessible route. More efficient routes help minimize the negative impacts of waste collection in the city, with less noise pollution, lower air pollution, and less traffic congestion.
