Digitalization of waste management and circular economy
We started with one product: waste fill-level monitoring solution that consisted of sensors measuring waste level in bins and a smart waste management software system. Over the years we have been expanding and perfecting our portfolio of services, which now range from waste and collection monitoring, route planning, factory waste management, to take-back systems and bottle bill and container deposit system integration.
Achieving goals and KPIs with our technology
Sensoneo is the only company worldwide to successfully implement software for Bottle Bill and Container Deposit programs across nine countries, with several achieving recycling rates exceeding 90%. In addition, Sensoneo develops smart tools that automate waste collection in industrial and commercial facilities, helping organizations increase diversion rates and improve overall material recovery and circularity. Our technology powers one of the largest smart waste deployments globally, with more than 11,100 sensors installed in Madrid, Spain. Sensoneo was also the first company to deploy a narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) waste management solution in the United States. Our solutions deliver measurable results, including data-driven waste management, reduced operating costs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, optimized waste pickup operations, and higher waste diversion rates.

We are based in Bratislava, the capital of the EU member country Slovakia, where we conduct all the research and development. Our portfolio consists of hardware, software, as well as consultancies, enabling us to provide our customers with comprehensive end-to-end solutions. All our hardware products are manufactured in the EU.
